Toughened glass is produced when float glass is heated to its softening point and is subsequently cooled rapidly in a controlled environment. The process makes the glass 4 to 5 times stronger than the normal annealed glass.
Toughened glass is safer because when broken, the pieces reduce to numerous granule fragments with no large jagged ends. SAFE TUFF represents consistent quality of glass with negligible distortion. Tempered glass is used in modern glass façade and automobiles, where glass strength is required. We at Safe Glass manufacture FLAT AND BEND TOUGHEND GLASS.
